This Privacy Policy describes how Leadtree Digital Private Limited (trade name “Semly Pro”, “we,” “us,” “our”) collects, uses, and shares personal information when you use SemlyPro.com, our tools, courses, content, and services (together, the “Services”).

We aim to comply with global privacy laws, including EU/UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA (California), India DPDP Act, and other applicable laws.

1) Scope

This Policy applies to visitors, users, customers, and leads worldwide (with focus on India, US, UK/EU, and UAE) who access our website, apps, tools, communications, and any service that links to this Policy.

2) What we collect

Information you provide

Account & profile: name, email, phone, password, role, company details.
Leads & forms: contact info, interests, project details, support messages.
Purchases: billing name/address and payment details (processed by gateways).
Social login: if you sign in with Google/Microsoft/Facebook/Instagram/LinkedIn, we receive basic profile data (e.g., name, email, avatar ID) to authenticate you.

Information collected automatically

Usage/analytics: IP address, device/browser, pages viewed, clicks, time on page, referring URLs, approximate location, tool interactions (via cookies, pixels, SDKs).
Logs & security: error logs, activity logs, fraud/abuse signals.

Information from third parties

Payment processors (transaction status), analytics/ad platforms, email/CRM, hosting/CDN, and integration partners.

We do not intentionally collect sensitive data (e.g., health, precise geolocation). Please avoid entering such data in free-text fields.

3) How we use your information (purposes & lawful bases)

Provide the Services & fulfill contracts: account creation, authentication, tool access, course delivery, payments, and transactional emails. (Contract)
Improve and secure: analytics, feature development, debugging, fraud/abuse prevention, security monitoring. (Legitimate interests / Legal obligation)
Support & communications: respond to inquiries, provide support, service notices. (Contract / Legitimate interests)

We do limited profiling for personalization/ads and no solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.

4) Cookies & similar technologies

We use essential, analytics, functional, and advertising cookies/pixels. Where required, we seek consent for non-essential cookies. Manage cookies via your browser and our Cookie Settings link (in the site footer).

5) Sharing your information

We share personal data with trusted processors under contract, including:

Payments: e.g., Stripe/PayPal/Razorpay (we don’t store full card numbers).

We require processors to protect data and act only on our instructions.

7) Retention

We retain personal data for up to 25 years, unless you request deletion earlier, or a shorter/longer period is required by law. Typical ranges:

Account & service records: life of the account + up to 25 years (for support, product history, and legal claims).
Leads & marketing: up to 25 years from last meaningful interaction (we honor unsubscribe/opt-out/deletion requests).
Billing/transactions: at least 7 years (or longer if required by tax/accounting law).
Logs/analytics: typically 12–24 months unless needed longer for security/legal reasons.

When no longer needed, we delete or anonymize data unless law requires retention.

8) Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to:

Access (a copy), Portability (structured format),
Correction (fix inaccuracies),
Deletion (“right to be forgotten”),
Restriction (limit processing),
Objection (e.g., to marketing),
Withdraw consent (for consent-based processing),
Complain to a regulator.

California (CCPA/CPRA): rights to know/access, delete, correct, and opt-out of “sale/share” and targeted advertising; we will not discriminate for exercising rights. Use our footer link “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” or email us.

EU/UK: you may contact your local Data Protection Authority.

India (DPDP): rights to access, correction, erasure, grievance redressal, and nomination.

9) Marketing & advertising

Email/SMS: unsubscribe via the link in any message or email us.
Ads/remarketing: we and partners may use cookies/IDs to show relevant ads and measure campaigns. Manage preferences via platform ad settings and our Cookie Settings. We honor opt-out rights where applicable (e.g., CCPA/CPRA).

10) Security

We apply technical and organizational measures (TLS encryption in transit, role-based access, least privilege, monitoring, backups). No system is 100% secure, but we work to protect your data and will notify you of significant incidents as required by law.

11) Children

Our Services aren’t directed to children under 16. If we learn we’ve collected such data without proper consent, we’ll delete it.

13) Customers’ end-user data (B2B)

When Semly Pro processes personal data on behalf of a customer (e.g., within our SaaS), we act as a processor and the customer is the controller. Our Data Processing Addendum (DPA) governs that processing. Contact us to obtain/sign our DPA.

14) Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy. We’ll revise the “Last Updated” date and provide additional notice for material changes.
